Woo! We did it! I can safely say this is the "start" of the label (despite us having two other starts in the past [those being EMCD01 and EMCD05]. This catalog is EMC!D01. File and 3xCDr set. Each disc is sort of its own album, there's a bit of a shift between discs (especially between 2 and 3). Here's the Bandcamp description I gave: MTS AIRMASS track only selected as preview track in order to prevent any specific track from getting the most attention for simply being 'first'.
An odyssey of noise, each creator on equal ground.
It might be useful to pause for a few seconds/minutes of intermission after each disc finishes.
Disc 1: Tracks 1-15
Extremely volatile, constantly exploding in intense, noisy outbursts, occasionally leaving space to think. Unpredictable. Each track is a leap from the previous. Quite the cocktail to kick off the release.
Disc 2: Tracks 16-27
Starts where disc 1 left off. This disc develops ideas a lot slower, making careful use of drones. After an initial explosion in sound, followed by a few smaller explosions, ambiences replaces the atmosphere. Something isn't right, however. The storm hasn't yet passed, we are simply in the eye of it. Intense drones build up to a fantastical outburst closing the second disc on an abrupt note.
Disc 3: Tracks 28-38
After the intense explosions of disc 2, this disc acts as a sort of aftermath. Quite a bit more hopeful and relaxed, disc 3 provides a well-earned reward after trekking through the intense minefields that are the first two discs.
